We held our 2025 Annual General Meeting on Sunday afternoon 16 November in Wooragee at the Hall. Members turned up online and in person to hear the Committee report on the 2024-25 Financial Year, elect the 2025-26 Committee and set Membership Fees for 2026.
President Scott Landells thanked members and volunteers for their support especially those volunteering their time as presenters, committee, officials as well as contributors to sub-committees and working groups.
It had been a relatively quiet year for Indigo FM characterised by the busy lives of key officials with a focus on day to day operations as the Committee considered proposals for Strategic Planning.
In 2025 we’ve been excited to welcome back to Indigo FM founder Paul Fitzgerald. Paul started Indigo FM in 2010, headed off for family reasons in 2014 and re-joined the Committee mid-year, filling a vacancy and has moved into the Tech-Programming team.
Another early days stalwart Tony Bates also returned as an on-air co-host of the long-running Community Radio show ‘Uncut and Unsigned’ co-hosted by Mark “Shippa’ Hoy, which made it’s way to Indigo FM in 2025.
Members heard about Indigo FM’s groundwork to undertake Strategic Planning in 2026, so watch this space.
The Committee for 2025-26 is similar to 2024-25 with just one change in personnel; Nigel Jones stepping off the Committee following a 5 year stint, replaced by Harvey Ballantyne.
The Committee for 2025-26 is:
- President – Scott Landells
- Secretary – Bernie Jovaras
- General Committee – Tiff Ellis, Ian Redfern, Paul Fitzgerald, Phil Fraser, Greg Clydesdale, Harvey Ballantyne (new) .
- Note: The roles of Vice-President and Treasurer will be filled by the Committee in the near future.
Membership fees for 2026 were agreed to be:
- Student/Concession $20
- Individual $30 or new passionate rate $50
- Family $50 or new passionate rate $75
- Community Group/Event $50
- Business $100
