Indigo FM Tangambalanga has a new Site Co-ordinator with Lannelle Bailey taking on the role.
“I took a leap and became a presenter earlier this year (2019) not realising the full extent to which I would enjoy being on air. So now I have taken another leap to test my hand as the new site coordinator at the Tangambalanga studio. I am looking forward to seeing our team grow and to building the program to have a minimum of one live show every day of the week.”, Bailey said.
Each Indigo FM site is co-ordinated by a volunteer Site Co-ordinator whose role is to connect and engage the local community and members / presenters as well as provide an important conduit to the Committee of Management and Sub-Committees.
President Scott Landells is excited with Lannelle Bailey’s appointment. “Our Committee of Management are really excited that Lannelle has agreed to take on the role. She has very strong networks at a local community level, as well as being a good communicator. It can be a challenging role at times, however we’re very confident that with the support of our off-air team and local members that Lannelle will continue the steady build of this site”, Landells said.
As well as her new off-air role, Bailey’s popular Friday Morning with Lannelle show – which airs Fridays from 9:30am – 11am continues it’s weekly schedule.
